Marilyn Adventures in Las Vegas

Following the Marilyn weekend in LA, I hopped on a plane to Las Vegas, to attend the IGCITA convention there. This was the annual International Guild of Celebrity Impersonators and Tribute Artists, and was attended by many impersonators, including several from our group. Karen Motherway and Janet Valentine both performed live at the Treasure Island Hotel & Casino, and Cybelvis was there too.

The first night, there was a dinner party at Carluccio’s Tivoli Gardens, which I attended as the escort for Karen and her lovely friend Amy.

Of course, for me the highlight of the performances was Karen’s and Janet’s Marilyn acts.


Meeting Cybelvis was a treat, too!

I also had the opportunity to see Marilyn’s Cadillac from The Misfits, which is on display at a car show in the Imperial Palace…

and to see the sights of the Vegas strip…
