Featured Collection

At the Christie’s auction last year, Carolien Krijnen purchased these items which once belonged to Marilyn. Item 406, a Wedgwood basalt bowl with 2 carafes and some Italian glassware.

$1000 limited-edition George Barris phone card autographed for me by George Barris.

Here is Dena Beeney’s HUGE collection…

And she even has an actual MM autograph – a personal check signed by Marilyn herself. Oh, you lucky girl, you!

Now, here are some pics of Tony Plant’s office showing his collection. I don’t know how he ever gets any work done with all that great stuff to look at there.

This is Nina from Germany, with her large collection of Marilyn books.

Hi. What a brilliant site featuring some amazing Marilyn collections. It must be thrilling to own something that actually belonged to Marilyn! That reminds me, did you know Christies are auctioning 4 pairs of gloves that belonged to Marilyn in their pop-culture auction in June. I have seen pictures of these gloves and one pair is the pair she wore when she met Queen Elizabeth in 1956! Someone’s going to be very happy to win that auction! By the way, I am having to downsize my Marilyn collection and I have about 250 books about her from the 1950s to the present. Do you have any idea how to sell these to another collector? Some of them are pretty rare and are in many foreign languages as well as English. Please let me know if you have any suggestions. Many thanks, and congratulations on your brilliant website.
