Marilyn Adventures in Las Vegas
Following the Marilyn weekend in LA, I hopped on a plane to Las Vegas, to attend the IGCITA convention there.
This was the annual International Guild of Celebrity Impersonators and Tribute Artists, and was attended
by many impersonators, including several from our group. Karen Motherway and Janet Valentine both performed live
at the Treasure Island Hotel & Casino, and Cybelvis was there too.
The first night, there was a dinner party at Carluccio's Tivoli Gardens, which I attended as the escort for
Karen and her lovely friend Amy.
Some of the imersonators included... President Bush,
Ozzie Osborne
John Travolta
??? can you guess ???
and Britney Spears
Of course, for me the highlight of the performances was Karen's and Janet's Marilyn acts.
Meeting Cybelvis was a treat, too!
I also had the opportunity to see Marilyn's Cadillac from The Misfits, which is on display at a car show
in the Imperial Palace...
and to see the sights of the Vegas strip...

Cary Grant is Dr. Barnaby Fulton, a nice and rather straight forward chemist who is working on a
fountain of youth formula for the chemical company he works for. The formula is being tested on
chimps.
However, things go nutty when Esther, a chimp, mixes the formula into
the office water cooler. From there, those who drink the water begin to feel and act like they're
younger and younger. This means trouble for Barnaby and his wife Edwina (Ginger Rogers), among
other things.
